Where there’s a Hive, there’s hope.

Programs that Grow Culture and Health

The Hive creates hands-on, Indigenous-led learning across gardens, kitchens, classrooms, and community spaces. Our programs center food sovereignty, cultural education, and community wellness, guided by T.H.E. H.I.V.E. values.

01

Urban Gardens & Food Sovereignty

Our work in food sovereignty includes developing urban gardens, hydroponics, and seed preservation. We are currently in the early stages of creating an Urban Seed Bank and Garden Project.

02

Culture & History Nights

As part of our focus on Cultural Education , we are launching monthly Culture & History Nights. These events feature storytelling and are a key part of our school programming initiatives.

03

Community Wellness & Healing

We support Community Wellness through mental health support and healing circles. We are actively developing new Community Healing Circles and culturally rooted yoga and wellness programming.

04

Youth Education Programs

The Hive is developing projects focused on Youth Wellness & Safety Education. This programming is central to our mission of uplifting and empowering Indigenous identities.

05

Artist & Presenter Support

We provide Artistic & Creative Support for presenters, dancers, musicians, and visual artists. Our current projects include the PREP-KC Presenter Program and Indigenous Artist Spotlights.

06

Community Resource Initiatives

To provide direct community care, we are developing a Regalia Closet Initiative. We also manage the distribution of Hydroponic Kits to community members.

Ready to Participate?

Our programs are open to all community members who wish to learn and grow with us. Find a date that works for you on our events calendar or sign up to be a volunteer.

For Schools & Partners

Co-design programming that meets your goals—garden builds, kitchen teaching, culture & language nights, youth pathways, or a full-year plan. We start with listening, align outcomes, and measure impact together.
