Programs that Grow Culture and Health
The Hive creates hands-on, Indigenous-led learning across gardens, kitchens, classrooms, and community spaces. Our programs are organized around Culture & Knowledge, Food Sovereignty, and Indigenous Entrepreneurship — three areas woven together like a braid of sweetgrass, guided by T.H.E. H.I.V.E. values.
Our work spans three areas — Culture & Knowledge, Food Sovereignty, and Indigenous Entrepreneurship — woven together like a braid of sweetgrass. The programs below reflect all three areas; our Indigenous Entrepreneurship work is growing through The Bridge.
01
Culture & Knowledge
We share culture and knowledge through storytelling and our Culture & History Nights, a key part of our school programming.
02
Food Sovereignty
Our work in food sovereignty includes developing urban gardens, hydroponics, and seed preservation. We are currently in the early stages of creating an Urban Seed Bank and Garden Project.
03
Indigenous Entrepreneurship
We support Native-led entrepreneurship and economic mobility, growing through our developing initiative, The Bridge.
Everyone is welcome
Our programs are open to all community members who wish to learn and grow with us. The Hive is open to all entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs, with Indigenous entrepreneurship at the center of our work.

For Schools & Partners
Co-design programming that meets your goals—garden builds, kitchen teaching, culture & language nights, youth pathways, or a full-year plan. We start with listening, align outcomes, and measure impact together.
